Located on a steep site with significant rock ledges and outcroppings, two 100,000sf buildings were sited to preserve the central rock outcropping and minimize the extent of rock blasting.  Blasted rock was processed on-site and re-used for pavement base as well as low retaining walls.  Each building had a unique entry plaza which acted as a forecourt to the building’s multi-story entry vestibule.
