Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum: Site
The project included the new addition to the Guggenheim Museum and restoration plan for the existing site improvements / pavements / planters / drainage and plantings at the museum. In order to develop documents for this work, holding to the original design intent and existing physical context, extensive review of FLW drawings and record photos was required.
Significant portions of site / plantings were located above structural slab requiring close site/architectural/structural coordination. Extensive re-detailing to coordinate between the various trades, as well as maintaining the original visual design and relationships.
