Astor Place / Cooper Vest-Pocket Park
Seaview Community Center:
Project focused on renovation of existing historic building and out-structures, as well as the re-development of the site / landscape for community center for NYC Parks.
Site work included roads, parking, emergency access roads, security issues, new courtyards, drainage, bleachers, new tennis and basketball courts; as well as croquet lawn for evening performances. Portions of the existing building walls were retained and integrated into a new trellis / overhead canopy as part of the site design.
